ü Buy it from www.mba.com. Practice 1 set in every 1-2 weeks to get estimated GMAT score. This is a reliable source. We don’t recommend practice from other sources because their estimated score tend to be higher than reality, and aren’t reliable.

**[2.****Tips for students who don’t have enough time to study]**If you really cannot find enough time to study and have only 2-3 weeks at maximum, we suggest you just to focus on DS. DS is a quick-win compared to PS. You can follow above steps but study DS sections only. If your current score is at Q43-46, mastering Variable approach of DS only will still get you a score of 49. If you have some time left to study PS after mastering DS, please study PS using the guidance above.

**[3. Tips for quick improvement without studying all study materials]**Please remember that key questions for GMAT Math are “Integer, Statistics, Probability, Inequality and Absolute Value”, which account for 80% of GMAT exam. Among 5 chapters, Integer and Statistics are more frequent and more important than the other 3 chapters. Please try to master and focus on these 5 chapters. If you can still find more time, you can further study “Geometry” and “Equation”

**[4. Other useful tips]**ü

**Study Math Revolution only**- We suggest you NOT to study materials from the source outside Math Revolution. Their questions tend to be “out-of-date”, and they tend to teach “general math skills” that takes very long to improve and are often not related to GMAT math. GMAT math requires logical skills and basic math skills related to GMAT math. We teach “GMAT math”, not “general math”. We also use “Up-to-date” questions that tend to appear in actual exam.ü

**“Math Secret” video**- In on-demand course, you will see "Math Secret" videos. This is a part that shows you a good example of each secret solution type. You can refer back to them anytime.ü

**Theory FlashCard**- We offer Theory Flashcard that explains about key concepts of Variable approach and IVY approach. You can download it “My Class → Summary” Please print and refer to it whenever needed.ü

**Two Study Option**- Under Study Room, you can practice questions, then watch the video solutions or read written solutions through screenshot of the videos. You can also watch videos directly without practicing questions. We recommend you to watch videos directly especially for DS+PS (Core theory), since our approach is very unique and different from conventional approaches. Please note that we don't provide practice option for "Math Review" and "Official Guide".ü

ü**Screenshot of video explanation**- Under "My Class→Study Room", "the end-shot of each video" can be printed for a quick review of the entire writing on the board. You can study this when you do not have enough time to watch the entire video.**Open Questions**- If you have “any questions regarding math videos”, please post your questions at Q&A of

each video in Study Room under My Class. We operate Open Forum for Q&A for all our videos so everyone can

benefit from open Q&A’s.

ü**Video speed control :**You can control the lecture speed of our videos from 0.5 times to 2.0 times of the

original speed depending on your skills and comfort level.- Q6. What differentiates Math Revolution?
Forget Conventional ways of solving GMAT Math problems.

For 15 years,

**the one-and-only World’s First Variable Approach for DS and IVY Approach for PS**allowed anyone to easily solve GMAT math questions. GMAT math is "logic".These methods have helped students dramatically reduce their time spent per question with

**speed and accuracy irrelevant to their math skills.**In fact, students after taking Math Revolution lectures have 10 minutes to spare before the exam ends.

Hitting a score of 45 is minimum.

**90% of our students hit a score of 49 and above.**The remarkable and guaranteed improvements in scores are what differentiate Math Revolution- Q7. How long will it take to hit Q49-51 through Math Revolution?
We do not make promises that we can’t keep. Though it may vary depending on current math skills and the number of hours you can study per day.

Assuming you study 2-3 hours per day and our video lesson hours are 55-75 hours at maximum. You may consider repeating the course to fully master.

- Students with a score of 45-49 ==> 1 month

- Students with a score of 35-44 ==> 1-2 months.

- Students with a score of less than 34 ==> 2-4 months.

- Q8. How to improve from Q25-34 to Q45-49
Many students at this level of score are very weak on math basics. The major difference between Q20’s-34 and Q35-42 is basic math skills.

Please always remember the principle of "Slow, Hand, Detail"

ü Solve "slowly" when you study and practice.

ü Solve questions by "hand" for sure. Understanding from videos is very different from what you can actually solve. So, practice by solving again in handwriting is very important after you learn from the videos.

ü When you solve them, write "detailed" calculation process without skipping any steps. This is also important.

If you don’t follow above, you will have a hard time in improving your math skills and math scores. If you are not strong on basic math skills, your PS won’t be good. If your PS isn't good, you will have a hard time in establishing equations in DS. So, your DS would not be good.

__How to score Q45-49__ü Enroll in All-In-One 51 for 2-3 months. Sorry, 1-month course is too short to improve.

ü "Slow, Hand, Detail" mentioned above. This is a very important principle and habit that you have to keep in mind at all times.

ü Build your math basics - We have "Math Review" (5-hour lesson). These videos are to learn basic math reviews that are composed of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Word Problem. ). At your level, you need to go over these videos twice. We are sure that you can strengthen your basic math skills. However, we suggest you to refer these videos anytime when you need to refresh and master the basics.

In addition, we have free video lessons for math basics. Please refer to “Must-know formula and Must-know math

basics”. http://mathrevolution.com/gmat/lessonThese videos can help, but they are not comprehensive enough to fully strengthen your basic math skills. “Math

Review” videos in our paid course will surely guide you to make sure you fully master the basics.ü Then, you can move on to our unique approaches to solve any kind of GMAT math questions. DS is quite easy and a quick win. DS is our biggest strength. If you learn Variable approach for DS which is significantly time-saving, very unique and very different from conventional ways of solving, you can easily achieve 45 and above. Just trust and learn Variable approach. This requires basic math skills, but more importantly, logical skills are required, which has nothing to do with math skills.

ü Your study order is Math Review --> DS+PS --> Introductory --> Basic --> OG --> Advanced --> Practice Test --> Special Question Pack.

ü Our online course is very comprehensive, so you can study on your own. You can ask as many questions as possible via online. However, you may consider Private Tutoring, $600 for total 6 hours, the best rate with the best quality in the market.

- Q9. How to improve from Q35-44 to Q49-51
If you are stuck at 30's-early 40's, your issue would be PS and your basic math skills would be shaky. You make unnecessary mistakes in basic-to-middle level questions and you cannot move up to advanced level questions in CAT's.

Many students at this level of score seem to solve the questions with eyes, meaning that you easily understand what is

taught when you learn but you don't actually practice to solve them by writing the entire calculation process. If you encounter similar questions, you tend not to solve them.

If you didn't follow above, you think you know well, but you cannot solve the questions properly.

If you are not strong on basic math skills, your PS won’t be good. If your PS isn't good, you will have a hard time in establishing equations in DS. So, your DS would not be good.

__How to score Q49-51__ü Enroll in All-In-One 51 for 1-3 months.

ü "Slow, Hand, Detail" mentioned above. This is a very important principle and habit that you have to keep in mind at all times.

ü Build your math basics - We have "Math Review" (5-hour lesson). These videos are to learn basic math reviews that

are composed of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Word Problem. ). As long as you cover these videos, we are sure that you can strengthen math basics. In addition, we have free video lessons for math basics. Please refer to “Must-know formula and Must-know math

possible via online. However, you may consider Private Tutoring, $600 for total 6 hours, the best rate with the best

quality in the market.- Q10. How to improve from Q45-49 to Q50-51
Our experience is that many students at this score level are both good at DS and PS.

__Their issues__

ü "Time management" is pressuring them to solve the questions on time.

ü They know so-called 700-level questions, but they tend to practice out-of-date questions and don't know the types of questions determining a score of 49-51.

__How to score Q50-51 in a short-period of time__ü Enroll in Short-Cut 51 course.

ü Focus on DS. DS is a quick win. You may save PS for a while. If you learn Variable approach for DS which is significant time-saving, very unique and very different from conventional ways of solving, you can easily achieve 49 and above. Just trust and master Variable approach.

ü Especially, you will have to learn CMT type 3 and 4 (Common Mistake Type) that determines a score of 49-51. You will encounter 4-5 CMT questions in the actual exam. If you get half of them correct, you will hit 49. If you get 1-2 of them wrong, you will hit 50. If you get all of them correct, you will hit 51. These questions usually take 4-5 minutes to solve through conventional solving methods. After learning CMT type 3 and 4, such questions will take you only about 2 minutes per question.

ü Also, focus on 5 key questions (Integer, Statistics, Inequality, Probability, and Absolute Value) that account for 80% of GMAT exam.

ü If your PS skills are good, but not strong enough, you can still improve your PS skills. It won't take long. Our IVY approach for PS can give you many techniques and tips to solve PS easily, with speed and accuracy.

- Q11. I am not strong in math. How can I start from the very beginning?
You are at the score level of Q25-30.

Please refer to FAQ Q5 “How to improve from Q25-34 to Q45-49”

- Q12. I only have 2-3 weeks left. Can I still improve my score?
It is not easy, but possible. Purchase either Short-Cut 51 or All-In-One 51 course, and

**focus and master solely the DS section.**If you study at least 3 hours a day, you can improve your score in just about 2 weeks. Variable Approach for DS is a quick win compared to IVY Approach, a method for PS. ü Also, focus on 5 key questions (Integer, Statistics, Inequality, Probability, and Absolute Value) that account for 80% of GMAT exam. If you can master Variable approach, you can hit at least Q45.

ü If you want to hit Q49-51, you will have to learn CMT type 3 and 4 (Common Mistake Type) that determines a score of 49-51. You will encounter 4-5 CMT questions in the actual exam. If you get half of them correct, you will hit 49. If you get 1-2 of them wrong, you will hit 50. If you get all of them correct, you will hit 51.
